I don’t always photograph my couples sessions in the studio. Jazmin and Michael opted for the majestic outdoors. Sometimes out in nature is the best place to capture a love as wild and as beautiful as theirs.
We met up at the infamous Windy Point on Mt. Lemmon on a Sunday afternoon, and made our way to our first shoot location at Bears Wallow. I had forewarned them that there may be a bit of hiking involved. But that didn’t seem to be a problem, they were totally up for anything. They have an incredible energy together, I love that.
We made our way back to Windy Point just in time for sunset. We took a few mandatory piggy-back ride photos, where Jazmin insisted she give Michael a piggy-back ride as well.
As the Arizona sky bloomed into beautiful colors, they changed into something a little more romantic to match the vibe.
I know real love when I see it. The way Michael holds Jazmin in his arms, as if to protect her from anything and everything. The way Jazmin smiles, laughs, and looks into Michael’s eyes. I see a wonderful future ahead of them, together, full of amazing memories.
I’m thrilled to have had the opportunity to capture their love for each other in these photos, and be a part of their story. Thank you, Jazmin and Michael.
A special thanks to my assistant for the day and best friend, Alicia, for helping me out with everything and enjoying the evening with us. It was fun, hilarious, and a day to remember.
