I don’t always photograph my couples sessions in the studio. Jazmin and Michael opted for the majestic outdoors. Sometimes out in nature is the best place to capture a love as wild and beautiful as there’s.Read More

I wanted to share this Senior session I recently photographed, because it holds a special place in my heart. My best friend’s son, Anthony, has since graduated high school, and has also made the decision to serve his country in the U.S. Navy. He was sworn in on June 4th, 2019 and is currently in Basic Training (Boot Camp) at RTC Great Lakes North of Chicago, Illinois.
It’s a difficult and life-changing decision. But he is impervious to any doubt and is committed to his future career. He is quickly becoming a man, and I’m extremely proud of him. He’s intelligent, well-spoken, well-mannered, and has a great personality. I’ve known Anthony since he was no taller than my waistline, and now he towers over me (by a few inches lol). He was raised by my best friend Alicia, and his older sister Angelica. Being a single mom was extremely difficult, but Alicia managed to do a damn good job with the both of them. Through the years they gave Anthony advice, taught him lessons, and helped shape him into the man he is today. May he take his experiences with him on this new journey and continue to grow stronger and wiser. This is a new chapter in his life and I’m excited to hear all about his adventures (unless of course it’s classified information lol).
To Anthony, I believe you will succeed in anything you set your mind to. Stay focused, stay on track, and you’ll go further than you could’ve ever imagined.
