I'm a portrait photographer living in Minneapolis, Minnesota. I moved to the twin cities in the Summer of 2023, after living in Tucson, Arizona for 22 years. I specialize in creating captivating portraits that tell the story of your journey.

When you're in my studio, I invite you to be open, vulnerable, share stories, laugh uncontrollably, cry if you feel like it. I APPRECIATE THE VULNERABILITY AND COURAGE THAT GOES INTO OPENING UP, AND HONESTLY FEEL THAT SIMPLY TALKING and feeling seen CAN HELP you HEAL.
TO TAKE IT ONE STEP FURTHER, I BELIEVE THAT GREAT PHOTOGRAPHS CAN HELP you HEAL AS WELL. PORTRAITS CAN BE VERY EMPOWERING. THEY ALLOW you TO SEE yourself IN A NEW LIGHT, FROM A different PERSPECTIVE than you normally see yourself. the portraits we create may HELP you FIND CONFIDENCE IN yourself that you WERE never before ABLE TO ACCESS.
PORTRAITS ARE SOMETHING TO LOOK BACK ON IN REFLECTION OF WHERE YOU WERE IN THAT PARTICULAR PLACE IN YOUR LIFE. WHETHER IT WAS JOYFUL OR DIFFICULT, IT REMINDS YOU OF HOW FAR YOU HAVE COME.
How far in advance should I book my session?
At least 2 weeks in advance. I limit the number of sessions I take on per month. For the best availability, reach out and book your session as early as possible.
When do you schedule your sessions?
Session availability is from Sunday through Tuesday between 2pm and 6pm. Check my scheduling calendar when booking for the next available opening.
How many outfits can I wear?
Depending on the package you select, you can wear between 1-3 outfits/looks during your portrait session. You can choose to have only 1 outfit/look if that's all you intend to wear. I always suggest 2-3 outfits to give you more variety and allow you to express your true self.
How long is my session?
Depending on the package you purchase, sessions are between 1-2 hours.
If you feel you will need more time to capture your portraits, additional time is only $100 per hour.
Can we take our portraits in multiple locations?
We can absolutely take your portraits in multiple locations, as long as the travel time between locations is reasonable.
Depending on the length of the portrait package you select, I recommend purchasing additional time for your session to ensure we have enough time to safely capture your portraits at the locations you desire without rushing the process.
Do you deliver any RAW photos?
There are a few reasons why I don't deliver RAW photos. RAW photos are the equivalent to film negatives, and are un-edited, un-retouched photos. As part of the art that I craft, I edit and retouch your finished and deliverable photos to give them that magical touch that is my signature look.
How much does it cost?
My portraits packages start at only $350. (Go to the Investment page for more details).
50% of the package total is required when booking your session in order to secure your date & time.
Do you only do sessions in your studio?
No, I also offer on location sessions based on your needs. There are plenty of great outdoor locations to fit your vision - from nature to city vibes downtown. I can also come to your place of business or home if you prefer. This is something we can talk about in detail during your planning session.
How should I prepare prior to my portrait session?
During your Planning Session, no less than a week prior to your portrait session, we will go over details of what you will need for the day of your session. I always recommend clients have their outfits and anything else they may need ready in advance the day before their session.
For men, if you have to shave, I suggest shaving the day prior, to reduce any possible redness in the skin. Do NOT freak out if your skin breaks out, anything that may show is easily fixed when making the finishing touches to your photos.
Can I bring my pet?
YES! I love photographing any and all pets. I consider them an extension of the family. Please mention your pets during your consultation and we will make it happen!
How long does it take to receive my portrait print & product order?
I will send you a proof gallery to select your final photos. Delivery time is typically 1-2 weeks after you make your selections.
