EXPERIENCE

Your portrait experience starts with an email response to your initial inquiry so we can set up a time to chat. On the phone, I will get to know you better, and learn more about what kind of portraits you are interested in creating and capturing together. I will also answer any questions you may have. From there, we can decide if we are a good fit to move forward. If at that point in the conversation we are ready to book your portrait experience, we will look at our calendars and decide on a date & time for your portrait session. Once we are off the phone, I will create your Contract + Invoice and send them to you via email. As soon as the Booking Fee is paid and Contract is signed, your portrait experience time & date is booked and we can move forward with setting up your Planning Session.

Planning

Once the Booking Fee is paid and Contract is signed, we will also schedule in your Planning Session to start gathering ideas and a vison for your portrait session. We can do this over a video call or

in-person. We dive deeper into what ideas you have and how you envision your portraits looking. We go over your outfit choices, and I give you tips on what will look best for your portraits.

If you choose to have your portrait session out on location, we will talk about location ideas, and plan around the best time of day, typically 1-2 hours prior to the sun setting. All of this will help prepare you and get you excited for your upcoming portrait session, and help me create the perfect backdrop scene to elevate your legacy portraits.

SESSION

On the day of your portrait session I always recommend arriving 15 minutes early, as I finish setting everything up and get ready to create your wonderful portraits. This helps us talk over any last details, look at your outfit selections, and allows you to warm up to having your portraits taken and relax if you are nervous lol. As soon as you walk in the door I make sure the studio is a comfortable and fun environment for you. I want to make sure your portrait experience is enjoyable and memorable from beginning to end. I will do my best to communicate with you throughout your session, and give you direction so that your confidence shows in every photograph.
